Note: OK, can we talk for a second about the genius shown in the way the handles of the cup mimic a smile on Woozy’s face?
With some of the later issues of Quality’s Plastic Man, it gets hard to tell what was done by Jack Cole and what was the work of ghost writers and artists. But Cole briefly came back to do a few issues of the title himself around 1949-1950, and this falls smack in the middle of that period.
And just look at that! That is classic Cole.
